Stephen Schwei writes the way people actually talk about their lives.
Pushcart-nominated, Houston-based, Wisconsin-rooted. Winner of the 2023 Kenan Ince Memorial Prize in Poetry.
His poems have appeared in Wax Poetry & Art, RFD Magazine, GetOutMag.com, Hidden Constellation, Borfski Press and Table//Feast. He is the author of Bluebonnet Whispers, Pure Lunacy and the collaboration Catch Me at the Carnival, and has edited and published other poets.
